The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is a refreshed version of Chrysler’s three-row minivan, with a new front end, an illuminated Chrysler wing badge, new tech packages, and a new adjustable-height power liftgate, all built on the same V6 and Stow ‘n Go foundation owners already know.
Chrysler revealed the refreshed Pacifica at the New York International Auto Show on April 1, 2026, and opened ordering. Here at Jay Malone CDJR in Hutchinson, Kyle got in front of the camera with the 2027 Pacifica so you can see the new look up close. Watch his video below, then read on for a clear breakdown of what changed, what stayed the same, and what it means for driving in central Minnesota. Want a longer look at one on our lot? Key Takeaways
In this guide:
Chrysler calls it a refresh: a new front end on Select, Limited, and Pinnacle, new colors and wheels, a new standard liftgate feature, updated safety technology, and a reorganized set of family tech packages.
The refresh is not a ground-up redesign, and that is worth saying plainly. Chrysler kept the engine, the transmission, and the Stow ‘n Go seating system, and put the changes where families will notice them every day: how the van looks, how it lights the road, how it helps you see around it, and how you choose your technology. Chrysler says the new front-end design is the blueprint for the next generation of Chrysler vehicles.

The changes are concentrated up front: vertical LED projector headlamps, an illuminated grille with a lit signature Chrysler calls “piano keys,” and a new illuminated Chrysler wing badge.
Chrysler says the new projector headlamps provide a 20 percent improvement in low beam performance and a 25 percent improvement in high beam performance compared to previous generations. On Limited and Pinnacle, the front end “wakes up” with a welcome animation: the center lamp, signature lights, and Chrysler badge illuminate first, followed by the piano keys at each corner.
Around back, there is a redesigned rear lightbar applique and an updated wing badge, and the S Appearance Package offers a blacked-out version of the look. On color, Olive Green debuts for 2027, with Ember, Glass Gray, and Steel Blue arriving as late-availability options. Eight wheel designs are offered across the lineup, including new 18-inch and 20-inch designs for Limited and Pinnacle in Foreshadow and Machined finishes.
The Pacifica LX, which used to be called the Voyager, keeps its familiar exterior design.

Chrysler describes the interior updates as new accents and finishes across the lineup, with the biggest change reserved for the Pinnacle trim and its new Blue Agave interior.
Every 2027 Pacifica gets a new Satin Chrome Chrysler wing badge on the steering wheel airbag cover, along with new interior accents. Seating is seven-passenger across the lineup, with eight-passenger seating available on the Select.
The Pinnacle is where the cabin really changes. It debuts an exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior with Sol Stopper copper accent stitching, a new Parquet perforation pattern, and Tungsten Patina piping on the seats. Copper Alloy accents replace chrome on the HVAC bezels and door elements, and the instrument panel deco trim is finished in Dark Platinum. Pinnacle also includes the Ultra Console, which blends into the instrument panel with dual-level storage and a large pass-through underneath, plus third-row sunshades.
Two new camera-based features join the Safety Sphere Package, a new adjustable-height power liftgate is standard on every trim, and the old Theater Group is now split in two so families can choose the features that matter most.
The Safety Sphere Package is optional on Select and Limited and standard on Pinnacle. The 360-degree surround view camera and front and rear park assist with stop carry over.
Family Tech Group: an upgraded audio system, Uconnect 5 NAV with a 10.1-inch display, an eight-way power front passenger seat, additional power outlets and USB ports, and the FamCAM interior camera, which gives a high-definition split-screen view of rear-seat passengers with a zoom-to-seat function that even lets you see a rear-facing child seat.
Theater Group: rear-seat entertainment with built-in Amazon Fire TV, a multi-channel remote, seatback video screens, and integrated media inputs.

The 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, the nine-speed TorqueFlite automatic, available all-wheel drive, and the Stow ‘n Go seating system all carry over.
Stow ‘n Go lets the second- and third-row seats fold into the floor in seconds, creating a flat load space of more than 140 cubic feet. Chrysler says the Pacifica remains the only minivan with this system in both rows, and the only minivan that pairs available all-wheel drive with second-row Stow ‘n Go, which is offered on the Select and Limited. On Pinnacle, the third row is Stow ‘n Go and the second row is removable captain’s chairs, a layout that makes room for the larger Ultra Console.

Available all-wheel drive is offered on Select, Limited, and Pinnacle. The available Trailer Tow Group carries a 3,600 lb tow rating, with trailer-sway damping and a heavy-duty radiator.
Important: Towing capacity varies by configuration and installed equipment. See your dealer for the rating that matches your exact Pacifica.
There are four trims for 2027: LX, Select, Limited, and Pinnacle.
| Trim | What Chrysler highlights | Drivetrain |
|---|---|---|
| LX | Formerly the Voyager. Keeps its familiar exterior design and comes with power-sliding doors and heated seats and steering wheel. | Front-wheel drive |
| Select | New front fascia and wing badge. Eight-passenger seating available. Safety Sphere Package optional. | Front-wheel or all-wheel drive |
| Limited | New front fascia with welcome animation. New 18-inch and 20-inch wheel designs available. Safety Sphere Package optional. | Front-wheel or all-wheel drive |
| Pinnacle | Exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior, Ultra Console, welcome animation, and Safety Sphere Package standard. Third-row Stow ‘n Go with removable second-row seats. | Front-wheel or all-wheel drive |
The refresh keeps what matters most around McLeod County: available all-wheel drive, a quiet cabin, a flat-folding cargo space, and a tow rating that covers small campers and jet skis.
Chrysler says the Pacifica’s all-wheel-drive system can send 100 percent of available engine torque to the rear wheels or to the wheels with the most grip, and that AWD models get a specially tuned suspension with a rear sway bar and increased ground clearance for rougher terrain and heavy snow. That is a useful combination on a snowy morning along US-7 or MN-15, or on a gravel road out toward the lake.
If you want to understand how all-wheel drive differs from four-wheel drive in general, our 4WD vs AWD drivetrain guide walks through it.
If you are driving in from Litchfield, Glencoe, Cokato, Dassel, Waconia, or Willmar, the practical side matters too. Stow ‘n Go turns the van into a flat load floor for sports equipment, groceries, and weekend gear, and Chrysler points to small campers and jet skis as the kind of trailers the Trailer Tow Group is built for.

A refresh like this is easiest to judge in person. The new front end photographs well, but the illuminated grille, the liftgate height setting, and the way Stow ‘n Go folds away are things you really appreciate once you are standing next to the van. Watch Kyle’s video, then come see it for yourself.
