Thank You, Hutchinson: Jay Malone CDJR Wins Six Best of Hutchinson Awards

There’s no award quite like one your own neighbors vote for. In Best of Hutchinson 2026, hosted by The Hutchinson Station, local residents named Jay Malone Motors, home of Jay Malone CDJR, the best in six categories.

Hutchinson voters have named us best in past years too, but this year felt different. Two of the six, Best Customer Service and Best Employer, are new for us, and both are about people. So before anything else: thank you.

The six awards Hutchinson voted us

The two new ones say the most about us

Best Customer Service isn’t a department award. It covers the whole building: the sales floor, the service drive, the parts counter and the body shop. You can’t win it with one great salesperson or one great technician. Everybody has to show up for it.

Best Employer means just as much. Our team includes people who have spent decades here, like Joel, who has run our parts counter for 45 years at this location. When people like where they work, customers feel it, and that’s how the two awards connect.

Behind every award is a team

Sales: Best Place to Buy a Vehicle comes down to a no-pressure approach and a family that stands behind every sale. Jay, Jake and I are here every day. Browse new inventory or shop pre-owned.

Service: Best Auto Mechanic belongs to our service team, including an FCA Master Certified Technician. They work on all makes and models with genuine Mopar parts, from oil changes to Cummins diesel work, and offer a free shuttle plus pickup and delivery. Schedule service.

Tires: Best Place to Buy Tires reflects a team that carries all major brands for cars, trucks, SUVs and vans and handles mounting, balancing and TPMS service. See tire service.

Body shop: Best Auto Body Shop goes to a collision team with more than 60 years of combined experience, a lifetime paint guarantee and free loaner vehicles, working with all insurance companies. Visit the body shop.

Why it means more coming from Hutchinson

The Malone family has owned and operated Jay Malone CDJR since 2005, on a Highway 7 West corner that has been home to a Hutchinson dealership since 1980. We’re a family business under one roof, and the people who voted are the same people we see at games, at church and at the grocery store.

That’s why the little things matter here: fresh popcorn, a golden retriever in the service drive, a free shuttle. Our motto is “Your Dealer for Life,” and we try to earn it by treating customers like neighbors, not numbers.
