Some workdays involve a suit and tie. This one involved a swimsuit and a whole lot of cold water. This week, Jay Malone Motors Assistant General Manager Jordan Malone-Forst volunteered to climb into the dunk tank at the McLeod County Fair, helping raise funds for Hutchinson Youth Baseball one splash at a time. It was chilly, it was fun, and it was all for a cause worth getting soaked over.

Taking the Plunge for a Good Cause

The McLeod County Fair is a Hutchinson tradition, and this year Jordan added a little splash to it. She hopped in the dunk tank and let the community take their best shot — all in the name of raising money for Hutchinson Youth Baseball. There is something pretty fitting about a few well-aimed throws helping local kids get out on the diamond and play the game they love.

Fundraisers like this are what keep youth sports going strong in a town like ours. Every dollar raised helps cover the equipment, field time, and gear it takes to make a season happen for young players — and the fair is a fun way for the whole community to come together and pitch in.

For Jordan, getting in the tank was an easy call. Being part of the Hutchinson community means more than just doing business here — it means showing up, getting involved, and lending a hand (or in this case, sitting over a tank of cold water) when a local cause needs a boost.
