Jeep has issued the firm 2027 Grand Cherokee 2-Row order guide. Here’s what we can tell you today.
Five Trims, Multiple Configurations
Laredo (with X and Altitude packages), Limited (with available Limited Reserve package), and Summit. Available in both 4x2 and 4x4 on Laredo and Limited; Summit is 4x4-only.
Starting MSRP: $39,520
That’s the Laredo 4x2. Laredo 4x4 starts at $41,520, Limited 4x2 at $44,960, Limited 4x4 at $46,960, and Summit 4x4 tops the lineup at $60,900. Destination charge is $1,995 separate ($2,045 in HI).
Two Engines, Trim-Specific
Laredo and Laredo X come with the 3.6L V6 24V VVT with eTorque ESS, paired to an 8-speed 850RE automatic. Laredo Altitude, Limited, and Summit move to the 2.0L Hurricane 4 Turbo with ESS, paired to either the 8-speed ZF 8HP80 (Limited 4x4) or the 8-speed 880RE automatic (Limited Reserve, Summit). Jeep has not yet published 2027 horsepower, torque, MPG, or tow ratings — we’ll update once official figures are released.
Limited Reserve — The Loaded Limited
For 2027, the Limited Reserve package is a $5,595 step up from the standard Limited 4x4 — bundling Nappa leather seats and door trim, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, surround view camera system, integrated off-road camera, ventilated front seats, heated 2nd row seats, 20-inch wheels, gloss black exterior trim, and more as standard content. Limited 4x4 with Reserve totals $52,555 MSRP.
Summit Adds Hands-Free Driving
The Summit 4x4 is the flagship at $60,900 MSRP. Optional Hands-Free Active Driving Assist System ($2,995) brings true hands-off-wheel highway driving on compatible roads. Optional Obsidian Package ($2,000) adds gloss black exterior accents.
Trailer Tow Package Available
Optional on Laredo and Limited at $995 MSRP. Standard on Summit. Includes Class IV hitch, 7-and-4 pin wiring harness, rear load leveling suspension, and full-size spare tire. Confirmed tow ratings will be published when Jeep releases 2027 capability data.

What does “reserving” the 2027 Grand Cherokee mean?
It means we put your name on the list for a 2027 Grand Cherokee and note your trim, drivetrain, engine, color, and package preferences. When Jeep opens the order book, we convert your reservation into an actual factory order. You’re not locked in until the order is placed, and you can change your configuration or cancel any time before that.
Do I have to pay a deposit to reserve?
No. There’s no payment, no deposit, and no obligation to buy. We hold your spot based on your contact info and preferences. If you decide the Grand Cherokee isn’t right for you when it arrives, there’s no penalty — we just move to the next person on the list.
When will the 2027 Grand Cherokee arrive at Jay Malone?
Stellantis has not announced a specific on-sale date for the 2027 Grand Cherokee. The 2027 firm order guide has been issued, which signals dealer ordering is the next step. We’ll notify everyone on our reservation list as soon as we have official timing.
What’s the difference between Limited and Limited Reserve?
The Limited Reserve is a $5,595 package upgrade on the Limited 4x4. It bundles Nappa leather seats, Nappa leather door trim, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, surround view camera system, integrated off-road camera, ventilated front seats, heated 2nd row seats, 20-inch machined painted black wheels, gloss black exterior trim, painted lower fascias, ParkSense front and rear, side distance warning, and more — all as standard content.
What engine comes with each trim?
Laredo and Laredo X come with the 3.6L V6 with eTorque ESS as standard. Laredo Altitude, Limited (4x2 and 4x4), Limited Reserve, and Summit all use the 2.0L Hurricane 4 Turbo with ESS. The Hurricane Turbo is paired to an 8-speed ZF 8HP80 automatic on Limited 4x4, and the 8-speed 880RE automatic on Limited Reserve and Summit. The V6 uses an 8-speed 850RE automatic.
Can I get the Hands-Free Active Driving Assist System?
Yes — on Summit 4x4 only as a $2,995 option. This is true hands-off-wheel highway driving on compatible mapped highways, similar to Ford BlueCruise or GM Super Cruise. Active Driving Assist System (the lane-centering hands-on version) is standard on Laredo Altitude and up.
What about the 3-row Grand Cherokee L?
The 2027 Grand Cherokee L (3-Row) is a separate vehicle with its own firm order guide and reservation page. Same trim ladder (Laredo, Limited, Summit) but with a longer wheelbase and 3-row seating. If you need 6 or 7 seats, look at the Grand Cherokee L. If you need 5 seats and prefer the more compact 2-row, this is the page you’re on.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
